I can't say enough about our coaches at Iconic Allstars. They address ALL aspects of the athlete!!! Coach Johnnie Buckley, Coach Billy Hemphill, Coach Lauren Lipira, have taken our daughter to barely doing a cartwheel to working on her level 4 skills in just two years! They are working on building the athlete from eating properly, conditioning, training, stretching, and sportsmanship and doing all of this as FAMILY!!!!!! Coach Lauren...I have to say you have done a wonderful job with this group of girls and I am not talking about their record...Although that is fantastic! I have coached and have been the president for a youth football league for a number of years and I have never seen a coach with as much passion and dedication to the kids as you! My daughter (Rio Ottolino) is a dancer (a Lyrical Soloist) and was at the same competition as your team of girls on 1/11/15 at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago. Rio's only cheering section was her Aunt Carrie, and me (her mom). Rio is an independent and not affiliated with any studio. We are from Marengo and were the only people that Rio had to go with her.
When your team saw Carrie sitting alone in the spectator's section, as I was at the sound booth starting the music, a giant group of your girls came down to sit in the cheering section to help cheer Rio on. As I looked across the room and saw this, I got goosebumps as the tears welled up in my eyes. They melted my heart. What a wonderful group of young ladies you have that would do that for someone they didn't even know!
It wasn't until after Rio got off stage, that Carrie told me that your girls told Carrie that they felt sorry for Rio that she didn't have a cheering section. Even Carrie was deeply emotional about the support your girls showed my daughter.
I couldn't even sleep tonight without feeling compelled to look you up and email you about your wonderful group of girls. I'm not sure which cheer team won the sportsmanship award, (or if there even was one) because I couldn't hear the announcer from where I was sitting, but if your girls didn't win it, they certainly did in my opinion.
Please share this letter with your team and thank them from the bottom of our hearts. If I were the owner of your studio, I would be extremely proud of my girls. IA will remain in our hearts and minds, and if we see you at another competition, you can be sure we will be there cheering for you as well!

I love this gym. The staff has all been super helpful and supportive in my getting my credentials, everyone works together to make a great program. And the kids are all so fantastic to work with and spend time with, I love seeing them around town and getting the sneak by hugs from cheerleaders who spot me first!

We came to this gym after being at another one for 3 years. They all welcomed us with open arms. They believed in my 3 girls and knew what they were capable of without question. The owner Carrie and her team are some of the best coaches my girls have experienced. They take the time to perfect skills before moving on, see the best in every athlete, and continue to push them to be their best. This is also the first year my girls have ever gotten a paid bid to an all star competition. 4 out of 6 of their elite teams received a paid bid and that is such an amazing accomplishment in itself.

My daughter currently cheers at ICONIC.I absolutely love the gym and staff. They make you feel very welcome. My daughter started taking a tumbling class there when she was 5 yrs old. When I saw the individualized attention my daughter and the rest of the girls received there, I knew this gym was perfect for my family. She has taken privates as well to help increase her flexibility. As well as, privates to help build her tumbling skills. They are so thorough and really focus on teaching the proper form and technique. Cheer can be a bit scary and intimidating but not here. Here you feel just like family!

This season has been one for the books. Our LB’s were 5x division champions, 3x level grand champions, and were your 2025 Allstar World Champions!
There were over 1500 teams that competed at ASW and LB’s were the 7th highest score of the entire 4 day competition. Through hard work, dedication, and a true love for the sport, these 21 girls achieved each and every goal that was set. Words cannot express the immense pride that I have for these amazing athletes and their incredible families.
Next year will look a bit different for me, as I will be taking a step back from coaching. Cheerleading has been part of my life since elementary school. I began junior coaching at 13 and had my first full season team (by myself) at 15. Cheerleading was my first love, my first job, and holds some of my favorite memories. This sport taught me how to be a leader, how to learn from others, to view alternate perspectives, and how to create great and long-lasting relationships.
I know, from the bottom of my heart, I would not be anyone close to who I am today without this sport, the Iconic organization, or the families and athletes that have touched my life along the way.
I want to say thank you. Thank you to the athletes along the years who have allowed me to coach you. Thank you to the families who entrusted me with your children. Thank you to the staff who have become my family and who have helped me through countless experiences. Thank you to the program(s) (Cheer Spirit, Cheer Alliance, Iconic Allstars) who have made me who I am today.
Thank you for allowing me to go out as a back to back AS WORLD CHAMPION.
Allstar cheer will forever and always be part of who I am. This sport is incredible. I have no other way to describe it. The bonds you create, the life lessons you learn, and the attributes you obtain are like no other.
I will miss this each and every day.
Some words of advice: trust the process. Trust the wins, trust the losses, trust the programs. At the end of the day, there is so much more to this sport than first place. The life lessons your athletes can take away are beyond anything else I can imagine.

Although this season only lasted two months, these were the best two months I could have asked for. In such a short time, we created a bond and love that made every practice and performance so much fun. It’s incredible how we came together so quickly, creating an amazing routine, sharing laughs and also many challenges. This team has given me memories that I will cherish forever, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to end my cheer journey with.
After 15 years of cheerleading, I reflect on how much this sport has shaped me into the person I am today. The lessons I’ve learned, the friendships I’ve made, and the support have all played a huge role in my growth. This team showed everything I love about cheer. The passion, dedication, and unwavering support for one another.
As I write this and close this chapter, I carry the love and encouragement this team shared, knowing that these experiences will forever hold a special place in my heart. I am so grateful for this team and the incredible memories we’ve created together.
To my mom Carrie Chicoine, you've been there for me through everything, especially with cheer. No matter what I was going through, you were always in my corner and always my biggest fan. I really look up to you, not just for how strong you are, but also for opening up a cheer gym and creating a community for SO MANY athletes, not just me. You are the type of person who puts her kids first before everything else and I don't think you realize how much I appreciate that. I'm so grateful for all the sacrifices you have made for me. Your support means the world, and I couldn't have asked for a better role model!
Iconic has been where I've spent most of my life at. Some weeks I would be at the gym more than my own home but I wouldn't change it for anything.
For every single coach I've had throughout the years, I am so grateful for you and cannot thank you enough for shaping me into the person I am today. Cheer will always be my biggest love but I am ready for this new journey in my life.

Coaching Miss Fame was honestly such a blessing and an amazing experience. I can’t even explain how much they mean to me. These 17 girls came together every time they stepped on the mat and watching them grow as a team and form such a loving bond with one another is something so inspiring. Their work hard, determination, drive, and their love for cheer just made this season so special.
Looking back on my last season as a coach, I feel so lucky to have had such an amazing group of girls with me. They made this final season unforgettable, and I’ll always remember and be there for every single one of them no matter what. The bond we built and all the memories we shared will stay with me forever. This team will always have a special place in my heart, and I’m really grateful for everything we went through together and to end on such a high note.
To Marianna Spizzirri, you will never know how much you truly mean to me and how much I look up to you. You’ve shaped me into the coach and person I am today, and I can’t thank you enough for that.
